
Ball Mill:
A widely used grinding equipment in various industrial fields, primarily for crushing and mixing materials. The ball mill works by placing materials into a rotating cylinder filled with grinding media (usually steel balls, steel rods, or ceramic balls). As the cylinder rotates, the grinding media collide and rub against the material, achieving the purpose of pulverizing the material.
Working Principle:
The working principle of the ball mill is relatively simple. It is driven by a motor through a reducer, which in turn drives the cylinder to rotate. The materials and grinding media inside the cylinder rise with the rotation of the cylinder. When they reach a certain height, they fall due to gravity, forming the throwing and impact of the material, thus achieving the crushing of the material.
Based on its usage and structural characteristics, the ball mill can be divided into several types, including:
Dry Ball Mill: Suitable for grinding dry materials.
Wet Ball Mill: Suitable for grinding processes that require the addition of water or other liquids.
Overflow Ball Mill: Materials are discharged through the overflow port at the bottom of the cylinder.
Grate Ball Mill: Materials are discharged through the grate plate at the bottom of the cylinder.
Tube Ball Mill: The cylinder is tube-shaped, suitable for long-distance material transportation.

Ball mills are widely used in mining, building materials, chemicals, metallurgy, electricity, and many other industries for grinding various hardness materials and other substances.

1.Using large diameter double row self-aligning bearings instead of the ordinary sliding bearing,a long service life,free maintenance and low friction,the actual energy consumption can be reduced by 15~30%,it is easy to start.
2.A conical structure is adopted near the discharge end,which reinforces the mill,more importantly,it makes the steel balls classified naturally,with small diameter of the steel balls near the discharging hole and fine grain size of the materials milled.
3.By adopting an integral steel under-frame,the installation precision is high and easy to install,with a short cycle.
4.By adopting drum feeder instead of combined feeder,there is no inertial impact.Thus,the mill runs stably,the maintenance downtime is reduced and the efficiency is improved.
