The LXJ type vertical centrifugal ore separator is a new type of highly efficient, energy-saving, and environmentally friendly heavy media separation equipment. Its unique annular groove cavity structure endows the equipment with excellent performance.

2.Working Principle:
In the mineral processing part - the inverted conical rotating sleeve, the ore pulp flows from the feed pipe to the bottom of the sleeve under the action of gravity and mechanical force. Due to the high-speed rotation of the rotating sleeve, the ore pulp receives a great centrifugal force and flies radially outward along the inner wall of the sleeve.

In the horizontal projection, there is a gradient field of tangential acceleration on the radial of the conical surface. In this process, due to the difference in density of mineral particles, the centrifugal force of the mineral particles is also different. The greater the density, the greater the centrifugal force, and the closer it is to the inner wall of the rotating sleeve. The closer to the inner wall, the greater its tangential velocity, which in turn promotes the particles to generate greater centrifugal force, making them closer to the inner wall and stored in the annular groove cavity.
Since the mineral particles are in the centrifugal force field produced by the high-speed rotation of the rotating sleeve, the minerals are enriched by obtaining different centrifugal accelerations due to different densities, so its sorting efficiency is far more than that of general heavy media separation equipment that operates in the gravitational field.

Equipment Operation
1.Preparations and Inspections Before Starting:
a:Prepare and inspect the electric motor according to the requirements for its use.
b:Check whether the equipment feet are stable.
c.Check the tightness of the V-belt, which should be moderately tight. (The adjustment has been made before leaving the factory)
d.Check for any interference in the moving parts of the equipment and manually rotate the equipment for inspection.
e.Check if the discharge port of the drive shaft (3) is blocked.
2.Starting the Equipment:
After the above five checks, connect the power supply, momentarily start the electric motor, and check for any interference in the moving parts before starting the equipment normally.
3.Feeding Ore and Water:
Once the equipment is running normally, feed the ore pulp with the required solid-liquid ratio.
4.Attention During Equipment Operation:
a:Monitor the temperature and current of the electric motor according to its regular use.
b:Pay attention to the condition of all moving parts for any abnormalities.
c:Pay attention to the solid-liquid ratio of the ore pulp and adjust it in time.
5.Stopping the Equipment:
This equipment should be cleaned of concentrate once every shift during normal operation. Before stopping the machine, stop feeding the ore pulp first, then stop the machine. After the equipment has stopped, lift the plug at the discharge port of the drive shaft (3), and flush out the concentrate. The cleaning time for the concentrate is about 15-20 minutes. Then plug it tightly and proceed to the next cycle.
6.Emergency Equipment Shutdown:
If there is a special situation that requires a temporary shutdown, be sure to stop feeding the ore first, and then stop the machine. However, the shutdown time should not be too long to prevent the heavy sand on the partition of the rotating sleeve (5) from solidifying over a long period. (If a long shutdown is needed, clean the concentrate before stopping the machine.) In addition, after a temporary shutdown, be sure to feed the ore pulp first to avoid the loss of gold particles when restarting.
Equipment Maintenance
2.Clean the equipment once per shift.
3.Adjust the transmission belt in time, tighten the loose bolts, and the adjustment must be done with the machine stopped.
