Underground Direct Buried Stranded Loose Tube Armored GYFTA Fiber Optic Cable Wire
The structure of GYFTA optical cable is to insert 250µm optical fiber into a loose tube made of high modulus material, and the loose tube is filled with a waterproof compound. The center of the cable core is a non-metallic reinforced core (FRP). For optical cables with certain core numbers, a layer of polyethylene (PE) needs to be squeezed outside the non-metallic reinforced core. The loose tube (and filler rope) is twisted around the central strengthening core into a compact and round cable core, and the gaps in the cable core are filled with water-blocking filler. Plastic coated aluminum strip (APL) is wrapped longitudinally and then extruded with polyethylene sheath to form a cable.
