Composition:
Oxytetracycline
Indications:
Treatment of diseases caused by Oxytetracycline-susceptible organisms in cattle, sheep, and goats. Diseases include pneumonia, shipping fever complex, infectious bovine kerato-conjunctivitis, foot rot, diphtheria, bacterial enteritis, wooden tongue, leptospirosis, wound infections, and acute metritis.
Dosage and Administration:
For cattle: bronchopneumonia, respiratory infections, gastrointestinal infections, metritis, mastitis, septicaemia, puerperal infections, secondary bacterial infections.
For sheep and goats: respiratory, urogenital, gastrointestinal infections, mastitis, infected wounds.
Administer by deep intramuscular injection. The dose is 20mg/kg bodyweight.
Withdrawal Period:
Within 14 days for meat and edible tissues, and within 3 days for milk.
Warnings:
Maximum of 20 ml for cattle, and 5 ml for sheep and goats at any one site.
Do not dilute the drug.
Storage:
In a cool dry place under 25 degrees Celsius, away from light.
