A silobag is a plastic tube made of a triple layer of thick coextruded plastic.
• The two outer layers are white with UV protective coating, to reflect sun energy
• The inner layer in contact with the grain is black, to keep temperature low.
• When fully loaded with grain or silage, they have a long sausage-like tubular shape.
• Bags are filled with the Silage Bagging machine.
 

Over the last decade new technology has allowed for the invention and acceptance of the Grain Bagging System which provides grain producers and grain companies with a temporary, economical storage site for their dry grain crop f.e. corn, soybean, wheat, sunflower, rice, etc., (12 - 15% moisture).

Every year grain producers are subject to adverse weather conditions that either delay or postpone harvest. During wet years, the storage of tough grain (>15% moisture) can lead to spoilage when stored in conventional grain silos or warehouses. This spoilage translates into a loss of palatability or feed refusal by livestock. Since grain bagging creates an oxygen deprived environment, grain is stored in a constant environment. The risks of grain heating are lowered (if not eliminated) because the catalyst that starts heating - oxygen - is deprived.

You can get some A4 size samples for free, and if you want to test a complete bag, we need to charge the cost to you.

Any order quantity can be accepted with the regular size, 9ft and 10ft are our normal stock. You can send the inquiry to us to check it.

Around 15-25 days according to your order quantity.

All our bags are produced by five-layers co-extruded film, it has good tensile strength and dart impact, Outdoor UV stability can reach 2 years. One 40ft container can load about 200 bags, and different size has a little difference, I can calculate it for you.
