Structure and Working Principle:
The horizontal screw centrifuge consists of a drum, spiral, differential, bearing seat, feeding tube, machine base, cover, main motor, auxiliary motor, electrical control system, and monitoring instruments. As the material enters the drum cavity, it experiences strong centrifugal force due to the high-speed rotation of the drum. The differential rotation speed between the screw and drum causes the spiral to push solid particles towards the outlet end for discharge, while the liquid forms a ring layer inside the solid layer. The differential ensures the necessary speed difference between the drum and screw for effective separation.
