Product Description

A heat pipe heat exchanger is a highly efficient thermal transfer device commonly used in various industrial and HVAC systems. It leverages the high thermal conductivity of heat pipes to rapidly transfer heat from a source to a cooling end, achieving efficient energy transfer through evaporation and condensation processes. The heat pipe contains a working fluid that evaporates at the hot end, carrying thermal energy as vapor to the cooler end, where it condenses and releases heat. The condensed liquid then returns to the hot end via capillary action or gravity, creating a continuous heat cycle. Due to its unique structure and working principle, a heat pipe heat exchanger is efficient, energy-saving, and compact, making it ideal for applications in temperature control, energy conservation, and waste heat recovery.
Basic Info.
Product Description
The rotary-type total heat exchanger is a high-efficiency device designed for energy recovery and effective ventilation. Its core component, a rotating wheel, operates at a speed of 8-12 revolutions per minute, serving as a thermal or cooling storage medium. This system facilitates the exchange of heat and humidity between fresh and exhaust air streams, optimizing indoor air quality and reducing energy consumption.
Key Features
Thermal and Humidity Exchange
The rotating wheel allows fresh air to pass through one half of the rotary heat exchanger, while exhaust air flows in the opposite direction through the other half. This alternating flow enables efficient heat transfer as the exhaust air releases heat into the thermal or cooling storage core. For total heat wheels, humidity is also transferred. Moisture separated from the airflow is absorbed by the hygroscopic coating of the thermal storage core and released when the airflow reverses, ensuring simultaneous heat and humidity exchange.
Seasonal Adaptability
The total heat exchanger operates efficiently across different seasons:
Summer: Pre-cools and dehumidifies incoming fresh air, reducing the cooling load on air conditioning systems.
Winter: Preheats and humidifies incoming fresh air, lowering the heating load on boiler systems.

Operation Details
Rotating Impeller
The impeller, rotating continuously at 8-12 revolutions per minute, serves as the central component for heat and cold storage. The reverse alternating flow of fresh and exhaust air ensures consistent thermal exchange.
Humidity Transfer
Humidity transfer is facilitated through a moisture-absorbing coating on the heat storage core. Moisture absorbed from the exhaust air is released into the fresh air stream when the wheel rotates, maintaining indoor humidity balance and ensuring energy-efficient operation.
Benefits
Energy Efficiency: Recovers both sensible and latent heat, significantly reducing energy costs.
Enhanced Ventilation: Maintains indoor air quality while optimizing temperature and humidity levels.
Compact and Durable Design: Aluminum construction and Eurovent, CE certifications ensure reliability and long-term performance.
By integrating this rotary-type total heat exchanger into HVAC systems, users can achieve sustainable energy savings and maintain a comfortable indoor environment across all seasons.
