Copper sulfate, the chemical formula CuSO4, is white powder without water, or pale grayish green due to impurity, and is a soluble copper salt. The common form of copper sulfate is its crystal. Copper sulfate tetrahydrate monohydrate ([Cu(H2O)4]SO4·H2O, copper sulfate pentahydrate) is a blue solid, so it is commonly called blue vitriol and bile vitriol. Its aqueous solution is blue due to hydrated copper ions.

Agricultural grade:

1. Used to kill fungi. When mixed with lime water to produce Bordeaux mixture, it is used to control fungus on crops, to prevent fruit and others from rotting.
2. It is a preventive that needs to be used before the onset of the disease. It can also be used for rice fields, pond algae.
3. It is also a trace element fertilizer, it can improve the stability of chlorophyll, prevent chlorophyll from prematurely destroyed and promote crop absorption.
