Product Description
SiRS-2686 is a super spreading surfactant based on trisiloxane ethoxylate. The SiRS-2686 spray adjuvant lowers the aqueous surface tension of spay solutions. Typically, SiRS-2686 spay adjuvant ( @ 0.1% wt%) gives the aqueous surface tension lower than 21 mN/m. It efficiently decreases contact angle between spray liquid and leafs, increases the covering area and promote the agrochemicals absorption.

Application
Used as spray adjuvant
SiRS-2686 can increase the coverage of the spraying agent, promote the uptake and decrease the dosage of the spraying agent.Typical proportion as following:
Firstly dissolve the pesticide, add SiRS-2686 after the uniform mixture of 80% water, then add water to 100% and mix well The water amount is suggested to be reduced to 1/2 or 2/3 of the normal amount , average pesticide usage reduced to 70-80% of the normal amount. A small aperture nozzle is helpful with the spray speed.
Used in agrochemical formulations:
SiRS-2686 can be added in the original pesticide.
When added to the original pesticide, suggested rate 0.5%-8% of the original pesticide. Adjust the pH of pesticide prescription to 6-8. The amount is flexible to adjust for different kinds of pesticide and prescription. Prior compatibility test and stepwise test is necessary to determine optimum dosage.

ABOUT SILICONE SUPER SPREADER
Agricultural silicone spreading and penetrating agent is a kind of silicone surfactant with super spreading ability. It makes the water surface tension lower down to the 21mN/m at the concentration of 0.1% (wt.), after the mixture with the pesticide solution in a certain proportion, it can lower the contact angle between the spray and foliage, which can enlarge the coverage of the spray. 1. Used of spray mixed in drum
In general, add Agricultural silicone spreading and penetrating agent (4000 times) of 5g in every 20kg spray. If it needs to promote the absorption of systemic pesticide, increase the function of pesticide or reduce the amount of spray further, it should add the usage amount properly. In general, the amount is as follows: Plant promote regulator: 0.025-0.05%, Herbicide: 0.025-0.15%, Insecticide: 0.025-0.1%, Fungicide: 0.015-0.05%, Fertilizer and trace element: 0.015-0.1%. When using, dissolve the pesticide first, add RH-208 after the uniform mixture of 80% water, then add water to 100% and mix them uniformly. It is advised that when using Agricultural Silicone Spreading and Penetrating Agent, the water amount reduced to be 1/2 of the normal (suggested) or 2/3, average pesticide usage reduced to be 70-80% of the normal. Using the small aperture nozzle will quicken the spray speed.
2. Used of Original Pesticide
When the product added into the pesticide formulation, we suggest the amount of 0.5-8% of pesticide formulation. Adjust the pH value of the pesticide formulation to 6-8. The user should adjust the amount of Agricultural Silicone Spreading and Penetrat- ing Agent according to different kinds of pesticide varieties and formulations to reach the most effective and most economical result. Do compatibility tests and step tests before usage.
