Temperature Control System for Transformers

The system comprises a temperature controller and a PTC temperature measuring element strategically placed at the top end of the low-voltage winding, the hottest spot in the product. This setup enables precise temperature measurement and control of the transformer, ensuring optimal performance.
In case of overheating due to overload or faults, the temperature controller promptly sends an alarm signal and automatically trips the temperature when it surpasses the safe threshold. For transformers utilizing forced air cooling, the temperature controller efficiently manages the cooling fan's operation based on the winding temperature.
The temperature display system provides real-time monitoring of the winding's hot spot temperature during transformer operation, enhancing overall safety and performance. It can seamlessly integrate with the temperature control system for comprehensive functionality.
Both the temperature control and temperature display systems can be conveniently installed at a distance from the transformer's main body. The lead wire length of the temperature measuring element is optimized for efficient operation:

IP20 housing prevents solid foreign objects with a diameter greater than 12mm from entering, ensuring transformer safety. IP23 housing is designed to prevent vertical drops of less than 60° of flow, making it suitable for outdoor operations.
Note: IP23 housing helps in cooling the transformer. Small capacity transformers see a decrease of about 5%, while high-capacity transformers experience a decrease of approximately 10%.
