However, in specialized environments (such as high temperature catalytic flue gas, gas, sulfur tail gas, and other media where temperatures soar to 800°C), thermal expansion stress can hinder valve operation, leading to critical issues such as tri-eccentric butterfly valve obstruction, whichimpacts industrial productivity,resulting in substantial economic losses, and poses potential safety hazards.


SNT VALVE has dedicated itself to the research and development of high-temperature flue gas device-specific butterfly valves.To address these challenges, SNT VALVE introduced the innovative four- stemeccentric butterfly valve to replace the tri- eccentric butterfly valve, along with theerationbutterfly valve solution, breaking new ground in the industry. This solution has successfully resolved age-old issues, leading to two national patents: a four-stem eccentric butterfly valve (patent No.ZL201520326489.1) and a catalytic device equipped with a four- stem eccentric butterfly valve (patentNo. ZL201921719624.3). SNT VALVE partnered with the China Petroleum and Chemical Industry Federationto conduct product identification in collaboration with Changzhou University,earning recognition as a domestic leader. Four-link Eccentric Butterfly Valve Application

The AOC-4000 series four-link eccentric butterfly valve, designed by SNT, is widely used as a special condition regulating and shut-off valve.
Introducing the AOC-4000 series four-link eccentric butterfly valve, an engineering marvel crafted for scenarios demanding high-temperature tolerance, large-diameter flow, and minimal pressure drop. This valve shines with its state-of-the-art planar sealing technology, expertly designed to prevent jamming under intense heat. Boasting rapid opening and closing capabilities, it offers precision in adjustments and steadfast sealing. Ideal for the meticulous regulation or complete shut-off of pipeline media, it is indispensable in the production of phthalic anhydride and maleic anhydride. Versatile in nature, it adeptly controls a variety of gases and liquids, such as hydrogen, ammonia, air, smoke, and gas within pipeline systems. Moreover, for media that crystallize easily, like sulfur, an innovative jacketed structure ensures uninterrupted flow by preventing blockages caused by cooling and condensation.

Working Principle

The sophisticated design of the four-link butterfly valve encompasses a finely-tuned drive device, valve plate, valve body, valve shaft, linkage system, and shaft end seals. The operation of the valve is initiated by the drive device, which propels the valve shaft and the intricate four-link mechanism. As the valve shaft rotates, the valve plate elegantly opens, achieving full openness when aligned with the pipeline's center. Conversely, the reverse rotation initiates closure, and, as the valve plate compresses the sealing surface of the valve body, a complete seal is achieved. This meticulous process ensures precision control and reliability every time.
