Oil Extraction Introduction
Oil extraction refers to the process of extracting oil from oil materials by using organic solvents.
The main process is immerse the pressed or prepressed oil cakes with solvent. Dissolve the oil in the solvent to form a mixed oil. Then separate he mixed oil from the meal. The mixed oil is evaporated and stripped at different boiling points to vaporize the solvent and separate it from the oil. Thereby obtaining extracted crude oil.
The solvent vapor is continuing used after condensed, cooled, and recovered. The meal also contains a certain amount of solvent. It becomes dry meal after being desolved and dried. The solvent vapor emitted during the dissolution and drying process is still condensed, cooled, and recycled for use.
