Product Description
Polyvinyl chloride (PVC) waterproofing membrane

Product Description

PVC waterproofing membrane is a flexible, durable material used in construction to prevent water infiltration. It's easy to install, resistant to UV exposure and chemicals. Common in roofs, basements, and tunnels, it forms a seamless barrier, protecting structures from water damage. With low maintenance and various thicknesses, PVC membranes are cost-effective solutions for waterproofing construction projects.

Features

 PVC waterproofing membrane:
1.High tensile strength, good elongation, and small thermal dimensional change rate.
2.Good weldability. The seam becomes one with the parent material after hot air welding.
3.Good water vapor diffusion, condensate is easy to release, and moisture and moisture left in the base are easy to discharge.
4.Aging resistance, UV resistance, chemical corrosion resistance, and root penetration resistance.
5.Good flexibility at low temperature (-20ºC).
6. Long service life (25 years for roofs and more than 50 years underground) and no environmental pollution.
7.The colored surface reflects ultraviolet radiation, and the surface of PVC waterproofing membrane absorbs less heat and has a low temperature.

Application

PVC waterproofing membranes find applications in various construction scenarios. Here are a few examples:

  1. Roof Waterproofing: PVC membranes are commonly used for waterproofing flat roofs, green roofs, and terrace gardens in commercial and residential buildings.

  2. Basement Waterproofing: These membranes are applied to basements and underground structures to prevent water seepage and protect against dampness and flooding.

  3. Tunnel Waterproofing: PVC membranes are utilized in tunnel construction to create a waterproof barrier, ensuring the structural integrity and longevity of the tunnel.

  4. Foundation Waterproofing: They are employed to waterproof building foundations, protecting them from water damage and enhancing the overall stability of the structure.

  5. Bridge Deck Waterproofing: PVC membranes are used to waterproof bridge decks, preventing corrosion of the underlying steel or concrete structures due to water exposure.

  6. Pond Liners: PVC waterproofing membranes are also used as liners for ponds, reservoirs, and water containment structures to prevent water leakage and seepage.

These are just a few examples of the diverse applications of PVC waterproofing membranes in the construction industry, showcasing their versatility and effectiveness in ensuring water-tightness and protection against water-related issues.
