Product Description
Melt Flow Indexer GT-MFI-450B

Standards
  1. ISO 1133, test method A and B
  2. ASTM D 1238, test method A and B
Application
It is an affordable tabletop instrument that tests the melt mass-flow rate (MFR) and melt volume-flow rate (MVR) of a wide range of thermoplastic raw materials, in the form of granules, strips of film etc, which is particularly useful for quality control tests on thermoplastics.

Features
  1. The instrument is with panel for a simple and fast input of the test parameters, visualization of test execution and final results. Also, test result can be print out via a built-in printer.
  2. Both Melt flow rate (MFR) and Melt volume rate (MVR) can be determined through a calibrated die under the effect of a pre-determined force, at constant temperature.
  3. Piston displacement monitored by encoder; storing and printing whenever necessary.
  4. It is supplied completely with all the accessories and weights necessary for maintenance and operation.
