1.Why it is called a pipeline pig?
There is a saying that explains the origin of the name. Long time again, when people insert a hemispherical projectile inside the pipeline to scrape the debris off the pipeline wall, friction makes the thing make sharp sound. It sounded like a pig's cry. So,people name the thing "pig".
2.How many types of pigs are there?
