Vertical slurry pumps are cantilevered centrifugal pumps. They have been designed for the handling of highly abrasive or corrosive high-density slurries, which are widely used in Metallurgical, Mining, Coal, Petroleum & Chemical, Transportation, River& Channel dredging, Building material, and municipal projects. Its construction can be divided into the following types based on the application ranges.

- Flow passage components: this type of pump use wear-resistant metal, the impeller choose to wear-resistant metal or rubber.
- Bearing components: we use grease lubrication. According to the slag slurry pool, liquid height can choose different lengths of pump shaft or suction pipe.
- Sealing: Doesn't need any shaft seal or shaft seal water. In suction volume, insufficient conditions also can work normally below.

What are the operations and maintenance of the centrifugal pump?
1 Regularly observe and record the pump's inlet and outlet pressure gauge motor voltmeter, ammeter and bearing thermometer indication values, find abnormal phenomena, should analyze the reasons and deal with them in time.
2 Always listen to the internal sound with the listening needle, pay attention to whether there is friction or collision sound, and if the sound is significantly changed or has abnormal sound, stop the pump immediately.
3 Always check the lubrication of the bearing to see if the rotation of the oil ring is flexible, and its position and oil supply are normal.
4 The temperature rise of the bearing should not exceed 30~40 degrees, and the maximum temperature of the bearing should not exceed 70 degrees.
5 Check if the dripping of the pump packing seal is normal.
6 If it is a large-scale water pump with circulating oil supply, it should also be checked frequently whether the working condition of the oil supply equipment is normal and whether the bearing oil return is smooth.
7 When the bearing is cooled with cooling water, it should also be noted that the cooling water flow is normal.
8 bearing vibration of the running pump also needs to be monitored
