SDEC Engine Introduction
SC15G series Engine was developed by SDEC based on mature technology of G128 and extended the stroke with optimized system and designs.Most of the parts still can be used in common with G128 which G128 save a lot with existing customers.It has larger output and can be applied bigger vessel main propulsion or auxiliary purpose


Main engine components:
1, The engine block has been widened and strengthed .Optimizing the crank case design which allow higher reliability
2,Change the crankshaft material from iron QT800-3 to forged steel S28MnSiV which allow better transmission rate and have improved the engine strength and withstand higher torsional stress
3,Piston crown shape has been optimized due to improved fuel injection system :con-rod maintain the same with G128 series engine but the con-rod bolts is applied with angle torque tightening method which more reliable and prolong miantenance period
4,All cylinder head studs,bolts&nuts.and cylinder liners have been optimized with longer life span and significantly reduce the "fuel leak ,oil leak and gas leak". Cylinder head is still maintained with one inlet valve and one outlet valve design with rotators.Push rod head hardness have been increased and the material of the valve seats and valve is been improved to withstand higher combussion pressure
