OptiXstar EG8145B7N-50 is an ONT client terminal designed for GPON networks. SC/APC connector with B+ laser is responsible for optical transmission, reception sensitivity is -27 dBm. The terminal can transmit Wi-Fi 7 wireless network, uses IEEE 802.11 b/g/n/ax/be protocols in 2.4GHz band and IEEE 802.11 a/n/ac/ax/be in 5GHz. The maximum theoretical Wi-Fi bandwidth is 688 Mb/s in 2.4GHz and 2882 Mb/s in 5GHz respectively. The terminal provides faster wireless network speeds than standard Wi-Fi 6 with 2x2 MIMO solutions.
The device is equipped with 1-port 2.5G Ethernet (10/100/1000/2500 Mb/s) and 3-ports 1G Ethernet (10/100/1000 Mb/s). The use of 2.5G port allows full use of the bandwidth offered by GPON standard (2.5.1.25 Gb/s). In addition, the terminal has a 1-POTS port for connecting an analog phone and a USB 2.0.
