Connect the flanges at both ends of the rubber flexible connection to the pipe end flanges using fasteners (Note: Use the diagonal method to parallelly tighten the nuts and avoid pressing them unevenly).
After installation, perform a water pressure test on the rubber flexible connection. After the pressure test and weighing, tighten the connecting bolts sequentially using the same method in step 2 to prevent local leaks.
Notes
The installation length of the rubber flexible connection is calculated from the outer side of the rubber sealing surfaces at both ends of the sphere, and the product does not have a flow direction.
It is prohibited to perform the water pressure test with any loose connecting bolts.
It is prohibited to open the connecting bolts between the rubber flexible connection and the pipe during the pressure test and operation stages.
It is prohibited to pre-stretch the installation by exceeding the natural length of the rubber flexible connection.
The pipeline must have fixed brackets or supports, and the force of the fixed brackets must be greater than the axial force. When installed vertically or overhead, corresponding fixed brackets and stress supports should be installed at both ends of the product to prevent pulling due to working pressure.
