During the installation of the MPP power cable protection tube, the connection method plays a crucial role. Selecting the right connection method is essential to ensure the reliable operation of the power piping system. This section outlines several common MPP power cable protection tube connection methods, detailing their characteristics and application scenarios to guide you through the selection process.

01, Before installation, verify that the power supply, hydraulic oil, and heating plate of the welding machine meet the necessary welding requirements. Conduct a test run on the milling cutter oil pump switch. Install the slips compatible with the pipe specifications into the rack. Set the heating plate temperature to the welding temperature, and before heating, clean the surface of the heating plate using clean soft paper or alcohol to remove any oil stains.

02, Remove any dirt from both ends of the pipe. Position the pipe in the frame clamp ensuring equal length extension at both ends. Support the pipe parts outside the rack using supports. Align the pipe height with the frame's centerline, secure the slip, insert the milling cutter, and proceed to mill the pipe.

03, Mill the pipe until continuous cutting is observed at both ends. Relieve the pressure and let the milling cutter idle for two or three cycles before retracting the movable frame and turning off the milling cutter switch.
 
04, Remove the milling cutter and bring the pipe ends together. Inspect the end face alignment, ensuring displacement does not exceed 10% of the pipe wall thickness. Upon closing, there should be no significant gap between the pipe ends, adhering to a gap width of: 0.3MM (DN.<25MM); If 0.5MM (225MM400MM) does not meet the requirements, it should be milled again.

05, Once the heating plate reaches the set temperature, swiftly place it in the rack, applying the specified pressure until the pipe end circumferences flip and the minimum curling reaches the desired height. Reduce the pressure to the specified level, ensuring the pipe end faces contact the heating plate, and continue heating for the specified duration.

06, When the heat absorption period reaches the specified time, retract the movable frame and promptly remove the heating plate. Close the pipe ends with minimal delay, not exceeding the specified time. Avoid excessive closing pressure to prevent expulsion of molten material, which would compromise welding quality.07, Increase the pressure to the specified level and maintain it for cooling. Once naturally cooled to room temperature, release the pressure, loosen the slip, remove the pipe, and complete the welding process.
