RTE P19 4D imaging security radar adopts a new high-resolution 4D imaging millimeter-wave radar sensing front end. While maintaining the original 3D millimeter-wave radar's all-weather and all-day working advantages, it has greatly improved the detection distance, resolution, number of point clouds and stability of target trajectory. It meets the high sensitivity, high precision and perception requirements of intrusion targets in key places such as railway lines, dams, reservoirs, power plants, and airports, and realizes all-weather and all-day remote monitoring and active early warning to prevent problems before they occur.

The RTE P19 radar is mounted on a pole through a three-dimensional universal joint bracket and a clamp (preferably fixed on a vertical pole). The installation height supports 1.5 to 5 meters, and the recommended installation height is 2 to 3 meters and at eye level (note that it is relative to the ground of the detected area).
Of course, it also depends on the specific situation on site. For example, when installing in the rail area of a railway line, there is a maximum installation height limit due to the presence of high-voltage cables, which is generally not higher than 2 meters. However, since there are no obstacles such as vegetation in the rail area, the installation height is not higher than 2 meters and does not affect the detection of pedestrians and large animals invading the rail area.
The installation height and pitch angle affect the detection range and the size of the near blind area. It is not that the higher the radar installation height is, the better. What is more important is to reasonably select the installation location and height based on the area to be detected, the vegetation, protrusions, buildings, etc. in the area to ensure that the radar field of view is not blocked. In particular, if it is necessary to detect people in the woods, it should be noted that the lush branches and leaves in summer will affect the radar's detection of moving targets in the woods. The radar installation height needs to be appropriately lowered to avoid obstruction by branches, and branches in important monitoring areas need to be trimmed.
