Product Description:
Fisetin is an unique botanical polyphenol and flavonoid found in a wide variety of plants, fruits and vegetables including strawberries, apples, persimmons, onions and cucumbers. Fisetin is a plant pigment, imparting many fruits and vegetables, such as strawberries, with their characteristic color and appearance. Fisetin has a very similar molecular structure to the more popular plant flavonoid and dietary supplement Quercetin. Unlike Quercetin, however, Fisetin is a senolytic and perhaps one of the most powerful senolytics known.
Function:
- Fisetin can inhibit prostaglandin
- Fisetin can be used to improve rheumatism, dysentery, gastrological, hernia, abdominal distension, toothache,traumatic injures, and skin ulcer in clinical;
- Fisetin can be used as anti-inflammatory and antiproliferative;
Pharmacology:
1. Inhibition of prostaglandin: It can inhibit the formation of prostatic cords in 3T3 mouse fibrocytes transformed by methylcholanthracene, and the half effective inhibitory concentration (ID50) is 42.0UM.
2. Enzyme inhibition: It can inhibit the whole sugar reductase in the rat lens, and the half effective inhibition concentration is 10-6M
3. Spasmolytic: The antispasmolytic effect of acetylcholine was 166% of that of papaverine in small intestine specimens of mice.
4. In animal studies, a team of Japanese and American researchers found that urushetin, found in vegetables and fruits, improves memory.
