Description:
Fluoroadditive TP200 is a white PTFE powder specialized foruse as an additive to impart low surface energy and otherfluoropolymer attributes. TP200 could improve lubricity andwear resistance when with plastics and rubbers. Addeoto lubricants, it can enhance performance under severeconditions. TP200 can be used at temperature from -190°to 250°C(-310Fto 480 F).
TP200 is generally designed to use as an additive, althoughit can also be used alone as a dry lubricant, It is unsuitableto be used as a molding or extrusion resin to replace forany of the high molecular weight PTFE resin.
TP200 is inert to all chemicals and solvent. it is a goodelectrical insulator, does not absorb water, and is highlyresistant to weathering.
Applications:
TP200 is mainly used as processing aids for plastics andrubber (elastomers), which can improve their non-stickinessand wear resistance, and minimize surface defects durincextrusion and injection moulding. Mixtures with some finely divided metals, such as magnesiumor aluminum, can be flammable or explosive under someconditions.
