Description
Fluoroadditive TP300S is a white or off-white fine powder of completely sintered low-molecular-weight PTFE. TP300S is specialized for using as an additive to impart low surface energy and other fluoropolymer attributes. TP300S has excellent flow and dispersion characteristics, enabling automatic feeding. TP300S may improve the wear resistance of thermoplastics or coating materials and enhance their nonstick, lubricity and antifriction properties. Added to lubricants, it can enhance performance under severe conditions.TP300S can be used at temperature from -190C to 250C(-310Fto 480F).TP300S is generally designed to be used as an additive, although it can also be used alone as a dry lubricant. lt is unsuitable to be used as a molding or extrusion resin to replace for any of the high molecular weight PTFE resin.TP300S is inert to all chemicals and solvents. It is a good electrical insulator, does not absorb water, and is highly resistant to weathering.
Applications
TP300S is used as an additive in plastics to improve nonstick performance and enhance frictional characteristics. The tendency for surface blemishes to appear in injection molded thermoplastic parts is minimize with TP300S (at up to about 20%by weight). Plastics can benefit in this manner including polycarbonates, polyacetals. polyamides, polyesters, polysulfides and polyfulfones. Rubber, elastomer (fluoro-rubber.EPDM, NBR, urethane). Low friction paint (metallic, plastic, rubber elastomer paint).

TP300S is packaged in 25-kg drum. Eight drums are packaged on one pallet for easy shipping, handling and storage.
Safety Precautions
Before using TP300S please read the Material Safety Data Sheet carefully. Open and use containers only in wel-ventilated areas using local exhaust ventilation.Vapor and fumes liberated during hot processing, or from smoking tobacco or cigarettes contaminated with TP300S, may cause flu-like symptoms (chill, fever, sore throat). Vapor and fumes liberated during hot processing should be exhausted completely from work area, Contamination of tobacco with TP300S should be avoided.Mixtures with some finely divided metals, such as magnesium or aluminum, can be flammable or explosive under some conditions.
