Experience a CPU that is 2-3 times more powerful, a substantially enhanced GPU, and improved interfaces for camera, display, and USB connectivity. This innovation is driven by the Raspberry Pi-exclusive RP1 I/O control chip, marking a historic first for a flagship product. Responding to popular demand, Raspberry Pi 5 now includes two groundbreaking features for tracking sales and managing potential returns:

1) Each board is uniquely marked on the upper side of the PCB to identify the specific memory density fitted, as depicted in the graphic above.
2) Each board boasts a unique serial number on both the PCB and its individual carton, enabling precise tracking of boards shipped to specific customers. Ensure to log these serial numbers during your shipping process for accurate traceability. Additionally, full shippers containing 180 boards feature an external barcode for easy content recording.

The redesigned case for Raspberry Pi 5 offers enhanced thermal features to accommodate the higher power demands. It includes an integrated variable-speed fan, powered and controlled via a dedicated connector on the Raspberry Pi 5 PCB.

This sleek case is available in our signature red/white color scheme at launch, with a sophisticated black/grey version to follow.

Accessories - 27W USB-C PD Power Supply

The robust 27W USB-C PD Power Supply delivers up to 5.1V, 5A, empowering the Raspberry Pi 5 to support a broader range of peripherals. By default, the total power from the four USB ports is limited to 600mA, but this increases to 1.6A with the detection of the USB-C PD Power Supply.
This versatile power supply can also provide 3A @ 9V, 2.25A @ 12V, and 1.8A @ 15V to PD-compatible devices, making it an economical option for various general-purpose uses.

Accessories - Active Cooler

For those pushing the Raspberry Pi 5 to its limits, the Active Cooler offers an alternative solution. It combines a large metal heatsink with a variable-speed blower, powered and controlled through the fan connector, and attaches securely to the Raspberry Pi 5 PCB via sprung pins.

Accessories - RTC Battery

The integrated power-management IC on Raspberry Pi 5 includes a real-time clock and charging circuitry for a button cell, ensuring the clock runs even when the main power is off.

We provide a Panasonic ML-2020 Lithium Manganese Dioxide battery with a two-pin plug for easy connection to the Raspberry Pi 5 PCB, plus a double-sided adhesive pad for convenient attachment.

Accessories - Camera and Display Adapter Cables

Raspberry Pi 5 features two four-lane MIPI connectors, each supporting either a camera or a display. These connectors use the compact 22-way, 0.5mm-pitch "mini" FPC format like the Compute Module Development Kit and require adapter cables for connection to the 15-way, 1mm-pitch "standard" format connectors on existing camera and display products.

We offer mini-to-standard adapter cables for cameras and displays in 200mm, 300mm, and 500mm lengths, ensuring flexible connectivity options.
Please ensure that you do not use a camera cable with a display, and vice versa, to maintain optimal performance and avoid potential damage.
