Application:
The use of phenyl silicone rubber with different structures will directly affect the performance of the final product, but for methyl phenyl vinyl rubber, the vinyl content, distribution, etc. will also greatly affect the physical properties and vulcanization properties of the vulcanizate; The low temperature resistance, damping property and radiation resistance of vulcanizate were greatly affected by different phenyl content.
(1) Vinyl content
With the increase of vinyl content in silicone gum, the crosslinking ratio increased, the hardness and tensile strength of vulcanizate increased correspondingly, and the elongation and compression set decreased.
(2) Vinyl position and distribution
The properties of the vulcanizate obtained from vinyl terminated silicone gumwere better than those from non vinyl terminated general grade silicone gum . This is because the vinyl end group has the role of molecular chain growth during crosslinking, so the physical and mechanical properties of the vulcanizate are improved. Our company uses D4 as raw material to make silicone gum . The vinyl raw silicone gum on the side chain is more evenly distributed, so as to improve the cross -linking density and rebound better.
(3) Phenyl content
Different phenyl content in silicone gum determines the functionality of phenyl silica gel. Low phenyl content of silicone gum is the best for low temperature resistance, and medium phenyl content can obviously improve the damping property of silica gel; High phenyl silica gel can obviously reflect the radiation resistance of silica gel.
Packaging And Storage:
Packed in cartons lined with plastic bags, 20kg/box. Store in a cool, dry, well ventilated place, away from strong oxidants. Avoid contact with strong acid, alkali and metal lead. Transport as non dangerous goods. Handle with care to prevent package damage. During transportation, it shall be rain proof, moisture -proof, sun proof and prevent acid, alkali and other impurities from penetrating
Shelf Life:
In the unopened original package, it shall be stored for 24 months from the date of production under 40 ºC .
