Signal power tappers, signal taps, power tappers, or just taps, are passive RF devices designed to draw a small portion of power from the main transmission line without causing substantial loss. A RF Tapper is a device used to split an input signal into two parts. The ratio in which the signals are split is called the Split Ratio - This usually varies from 1:2 to 1:10000 - Depending on the application and power level. In theory, RF signal tappers
are very similar to directional couplers.

Such wideband tappers available with N Female, 4.3-10 or 7/16 DIN connectors with a matching coupling port.
