Stiff Boom Marine Cranes
The stiff boom crane has a stiff boom, large lifting capacity, easy maintenance, low cost, usually used as a shipboard crane or ship-to-ship crane, suitable for offshore work on the deck of bulk carriers or where there is enough free space, commonly used in docks, harbors and offshore.

Boom:
Main boom: It is the main load-bearing component of the crane, which is used to support and lift heavy objects.
Subjib: Sometimes it is equipped with a subjib to increase lifting capacity or extend the working range.
Lifting mechanism:
Hoisting motor: used to drive the hook to move up and down.
Hook: used to load and lift heavy loads.
Slewing mechanism:
Slewing motor: enables the boom part of the crane to rotate in the horizontal plane.
Slewing Ring: Supports the entire crane and allows it to rotate.
Luffing motor: control the elevation angle of the boom to adjust the working range of the hook.


Luffing cylinder: The elevation angle of the boom is changed by telescoping.
Electrical Control System:

Cables and wiring: Connecting the control panel to the individual motors and sensors of the crane.
Hydraulics:
Hydraulic Pump: Provides hydraulic oil pressure.
Hydraulic cylinder: used to drive certain actions of the crane, such as luffing and lifting.
Limit switch: prevent the crane from exceeding the safe working range.
Overload protection: Prevent the crane from overloading.
Emergency stop button: Quickly stop all movements of the crane in case of emergency.
Counterweight:
It is used to balance the torque generated by the crane when lifting and ensure the stability of the crane.
