• Applications: The API 16C throttle and well-killing hose is a vital component of both ground and underwater throttle and well-killing systems, playing a crucial role in modern drilling blowout prevention control equipment. 1. During drilling, when normal circulation through the drill string cannot be utilized, this pipeline serves as the conduit for fluid injection into the wellbore; 2. In the event of a well kick, where formation fluid flows into the wellbore, this hose adeptly applies back pressure to stabilize the situation; 3. It is also designed for the safe transportation of acidic mediums.
• Implementation Standard: Adheres to the stringent API Spec 16C guidelines.
• Hose Structure: Engineered with precision, the hose features a specialized inner sealing layer made from advanced engineering plastics. This is complemented by a synthetic rubber core, predominantly hydrogenated nitrile rubber, offering exceptional resistance to hydrogen sulfide, oil, corrosion, high temperatures, and gas permeation. For strength and durability, it includes a high-strength fabric cloth as an inner buffer and outer protective layer, and a robust high-strength steel wire rope as the pressure-bearing skeleton. Adding to its resilience, a glass fiber cloth acts as a flame retardant insulation layer, while the outer layer is made from synthetic rubber with chloroprene rubber for attributes such as flame retardance, wear resistance, oil resistance, ozone aging resistance, UV resistance, all ideal for marine environments.
• Tested to Perfection: The hose has successfully passed the stringent performance identification test as per API 16C standard clause B12.
• Optional Features: For added versatility, the hose can be equipped with an electric heating function, tailored to your specific needs.
