Product Definition

What Is a Test Sieve?
A test sieve is a scientific screening instrument, which usually uses a screening or sieving medium (woven wire screen, perforated metal screen, or electroformed material) with openings of uniform size and shape mounted on a rigid frame to help generate a reliable particle size distribution curve.
The rigid frame is usually made of stainless steel or brass in a cylindrical configuration.
Typically, a number of test sieves with various mesh openings are stacked on top of each other to separate the particles of a material sample based on their size.

Our product model TS-100 test sieves are defined as AISI 304 stainless steel standard test sieves with 100mm diameter stainless steel frames.
Our product model TS-200 test sieves are defined as AISI 304 stainless steel standard test sieves with 200mm diameter stainless steel frames provided in the ISO 3310 specifications.
Our product model TS-203 test sieves are defined as AISI 304 stainless steel standard test sieves with 203mm (8in) diameter stainless steel frames provided in the US Standard ASTM E-11 specifications.
Our product model TS-300 test sieves are defined as AISI 304 stainless steel standard test sieves with 300mm diameter stainless steel frames.
Our product model TS-305 test sieves are defined as AISI 304 stainless steel standard test sieves with 305mm (12in) diameter stainless steel frames provided in the US Standard ASTM E-11 specifications.
Our product model TS-400 test sieves are defined as AISI 304 stainless steel standard test sieves with 400mm diameter stainless steel frames.

Structural Characteristics of TS Series
In terms of TS-80, TS-100, TS-200, TS-203, TS-300, TS-305 and TS-400 test sieves
1. Durable Construction

Each test sieve is carefully crafted with 2Nos polished seamless stainless steel frames in a cylindrical configuration and 1No high-quality screening medium. These Standard Test Sieves are built to withstand rigorous testing conditions, ensuring long-lasting use. 
The two polished seamless stainless steel frames are the inside frame and the outside frame.

Either of the two frames is drawn from one piece of stainless steel without any seam. The seamless frames are designed to enhances structural integrity and eliminates potential weak points. 
Please take note that the outside frame is complete with an extended bottom (sieve skirt). The seamless sieve skirt is designed to fit all frames, bottom pans, and nesting pans of the same diameter for convenient stacking.
One screening medium can be either 1No high-quality woven wire screen or 1No perforated plate screen.

2. Versatile Edges
The inside polished seamless stainless steel frame has the top edge, which has been rolled for comfortable and safe handling purposes, and the bottom edge, which has been bent into a circular strip of hoop for purposes of preventing loss of sample materials between the metal screen and the frame.
In addition, the hoop is also used to receive the metal screen that can be hand soldered onto its back face when the metal screen is tightened up in terms of coarse mesh screens or perforated plate screens.

 
3. Precise Apertures
Whether woven wire screens or perforated plate screens, they are of precise apertures in strict accordance with ISO 3310, ASTM or other specifications.

For fine sieving, our skilled workers can have a woven wire screen clamped tightly between the two frames by using a special technology, instead of the hand soldering process.
Evenly tightened screen panels ensure accurate analysis.
