Low voltage cable branch box monitoring unit
1.Product profile
The branch monitoring unit is mainly installed in the comprehensive distribution cabinet (JP cabinet) of the distribution transformer and the cable branch box, to monitor the operation status of low-voltage lines and indicate the fault status of the lines. The branch monitoring unit is connected to three-phase voltage and collects three-phase current through current transformers. The collected electrical signals and related fault information are uploaded through power line carrier communication. RS485 can also be used for data upload or device control, suitable for power monitoring and fault detection of 400V lines. It can collect information such as operating current, voltage, and protection current of low-voltage lines, calculate active and reactive power of the lines, detect line faults and issue fault alarms, and achieve information management of low-voltage power grids.
