The germination rate test of pelletized seeds
mainly includes the following steps:
| Firstly, prepare a suitable germination bed. Secondly, a certain number of seeds should be randomly selected from the pelletized seeds as samples, and the sampling should be representative. Generally, at least 100 small seeds can be extracted, while 50 large seeds can be extracted or the quantity can be determined according to specific requirements. |  |
| Then, place the pelletized seeds on the germination bed. Next, place the germination bed with the seeds in place in a suitable environment for cultivation. Different seeds have different requirements for temperature, light, and other conditions. For example, most vegetable seeds are suitable for temperatures around 20-25 ºC and may require certain light or dark conditions. During the cultivation process, attention should be paid to keeping the germination bed moist, but water should not accumulate. |  |
| Finally, regularly observe and record the germination of the seeds. Within the specified germination time (different seeds have different germination times), count the number of germinated seeds and calculate the germination rate. Germination rate=(number of germinated seeds ÷ number of tested seeds) × 100%. |  |
