DESCRIPTION

BC-G44 powder is a probiotic containing the Bacillus coagulans and also a dilution carrier such as the Glucose Anhydrous etc.

Bacillus coagulans BC-G44 is a bacteria with the following classification:

A lactic acid-forming bacterial species. Gram-positive rod (0.9 by 3.0 to 5.0 μm in size), catalase positive, spore-forming, motile, and a facultative anaerobe. Metabolism prefers mesophilic temperature about 40ºC, range of temperature is 30-55ºC; and it grows in the pH range of 5.5 to 7.0. the spore formed Bacillus spp is more acid tolerant than pathogenic and spoilage microorganisms, good resistant to the high temperature, acidity and bile.
Spores of B. coagulans are likely survive at gastric pH and reach the intestine, where sporulation can occur. The animal or human gastric humidity can help the bacteria to transform from spore form to active state of being, and then produce peptidoglycan to coordinate this inactive/active metabolism.
Bacillus coagulans has been studied and used for a long time, even much before antibiotic discovery. It was regarded as the alternative medicine in a period for bacteria treatment, from the summarized study results, the metabolism of the Bacillus coagulans is mainly as:

Oxygen consumption by aerobic metabolism to help to boost the other anaerobic bacteria especially the friendly lactic acid bacteria to grow up. Also as a part of its metabolic activity, it can also produce more organic acid to compete and inhibit the growth of pathogens.
