How to use
1. Prepare filter paper
Unfold the wavy filter paper and observe the flat fold at the bottom (usually there are 3 layers of folds).
Gently stretch the filter paper to fit the wavy inner wall of the Wave filter cup (no need to wet it in advance, but if you mind the smell of paper, you can rinse it with hot water).
2. Place the filter cup
Place the filter cup on the sharing pot or coffee cup to ensure stability.
3. Add coffee powder
The grinding degree is recommended to be medium-coarse (such as the size of white sugar particles, about 20-24 grid electric grinder).
Reference for powder amount: 15g powder corresponds to 240ml water (1:16 ratio), adjust according to the capacity of the filter cup.
4. Fill water and brew
Pre-soak: Slowly fill water with 90-96ºC hot water (about 2 times the amount of powder), wait 30 seconds to exhaust.
Segmented water filling:
First segment: Draw a circle from the center to the outside to fill water to 100ml, wait 10 seconds.
Second stage: Fill water to 200ml in the same way, and slightly raise the spout to increase penetration.
Last stage: Fill water to the target amount at a fixed point in the center (avoid flushing the edge of the filter paper).
The total time is recommended to be 2.5-3 minutes, and over-extraction may occur.
5. Remove the filter cup
Remove the filter cup in time after extraction to avoid dripping and affecting the concentration.
