The crude product is obtained by introducing seawater (with an average content of 2.4% sodium chloride) into the salt field, drying it in the sun, concentrating and crystallizing it. Seawater can also be heated by steam, filtered through a sand filter, and concentrated using ion exchange membrane electrodialysis to obtain salt water (containing 160-180g/L sodium chloride). Salt gypsum is evaporated and separated by centrifugation, resulting in over 95% sodium chloride (2% moisture). After drying, table salt can be produced. Rock salt and salt lake saltwater can also be used as raw materials, and the raw salt can be obtained by drying in the sun. When using underground saltwater and well salt as raw materials, the product is obtained by three or four effect evaporation concentration, precipitation crystallization, and centrifugal separation

Industry use
1. When electrolyzing sodium chloride aqueous solution, hydrogen and chlorine gas are produced. Chlorine gas is widely used in chemical industry and can be used to synthesize polyvinyl chloride, insecticides, hydrochloric acid, etc.

Sodium chloride is essential for many biological reactions, such as in molecular biology experiments where multiple solution formulations contain sodium chloride, and most bacterial culture media contain sodium chloride. It is also a raw material for the production of soda ash by ammonia alkali method.
3. Sodium chloride widely used as snow-melting agent.
5.Analytical reagents are used as trace analytical reagents for fluorine and silicate.
