Vane mist eliminators are specialized devices designed to remove liquid droplets from a gas stream. They consist of multiple closely spaced blades arranged in a zigzag pattern that creates a tortuous path for the gas to follow.
As the gas passes through this structure, the droplets carried within it are forced to change direction more sharply than the gas itself due to their inertia.

Under all operating conditions (up to 110% load), the free residual moisture downstream of the demister should not exceed 20mg/Nm3.
