Diverging from traditional engineered stone or quartz countertops, which incorporate resins as binders, sintered stone stands apart by containing no such binders. Instead, it is meticulously created from raw minerals like zircon, hematite, and albite, which are finely ground into a powder and then exposed to extreme temperatures exceeding 1,800°C.
The most important advantage of sintered stone is the unlimited surface patterns. Unlike other kind of man-made stone, sintered stone's marble-imitating pattern is printed on by spraying machines with a HD picture file. It means that by scanning a natural marble slab such as Calacatta or Carrara, or any kind of natural patterns on natural marble & granite, we can get a HD picture file to use on the surface of sintered stone.
