SM type three screw pump features:
SPF type pump is self-priming three-screw type of pump with internal bearing, The hardened and ground screws run in anexchangeable casting insert. The driving screw is hydraulically balanced. The axial thrust of the working screw is absorbed by theend side pump cover Their drive is hydraulic. The thread flanks merely transmit the toraue resulting from the liauid friction. Thusthe thread flanks are practically stress-free and not subiect to any wear. All sliding parts are lubricated by the delivery medium beingwithin the range of full liquid friction.
The radial and axial bearing of the driving screw is by the balancing piston guided in the bearing ring, Simultaneously, the gapbetween balancing piston and bearing rings separates the pressure chamber from the sealing chamber, A maintenance freemechanical seal is provided as the shaft sealing. Sealing chamber and suction chamber are interconnected by way of a returgallery. Thus, independently of the delivery pressure at the shaft sealing, only the suction pressure becomes effective.Complete units being supplied, the connection pump/driving motor is by a pump connector with bracket (sizes 20) or by a wal/footbracket resp. (size 40).
PUMPED LIQUID
USE For the delivery of fuel oil, lube oil, hydraulic oil or other lubricating liquids. The delivery media must not contain any abrasiveparticles nor chemically attack the pump materials.
OPERATION
Owing to a special profiling of the thread fanks, the three screws from sealed chambers the contents of which are axiallyand completelycontinuously shifted from the suction to the pump side of the pump as the screws turn. There will be no turbulence in spite of the screwrotation. The constant chamber volume excludes squeezing.
NOISE AND PLUSATION
The structural design and operation of the screw pump ensure a very low noise level and almost pulsation-free delivery.
SHAFT SEALING
By means of a maintenance-free mechanical seal of the unbalanced type.
PRESSURE RELIEF VALVE
As an overload protection, installed in each pump is a pressure relief valve.

INSTALLATION
SPF type three screw pumps may be mounted in any position. For safety purposes, the arrangement with motor downwards is not
admissible.
DRIVE/COUPLING
1.By way of an intermediate connctor, electric motors of the most varled designs or other prime moverscanbe connected with the pump .Normally, the following are provided.
2. Surface-cooled three-phase squirrel-cape motors, enclosure lP44 according to lEC Standards.Class B insulation, performances and main dimensions accordinp to Y series motor.
3.Motors rated for 50HZ can also be operated form 60HZ supply systems without any change.
Application:
SPF type three screw pump operate as transfer, booster and burner operation pumps in fuel oil engineering, as transfer and filingpumps in tank farms as wel as lube-oil pumps in any industrial branches. They are moreover used for pressure generation in oihydraulic plants of all kinds.
