We also produce custom sized stainless steel bars, and if quantities are below the factory minimum, we can arrange a stocking program for prompt, fast turnaround. Additional Services
The majority of our inventory is our unique processed bar grade: stainless steel round bars, which are melted to consistent standards to improve machinability and reduce the total cost of each part. Our stainless steel bar processing machinery enables Daxun Alloys to produce to the precise specifications of our customers.

1. Daxun can perform heat treatments on our stainless steel bars. This will depend on the chemistry of the metal being treated. 2. Positive Material Identification (PMI) In some cases, additional Positive Material Identification testing may need to be completed. Daxun Stainless Steel Products can complete this testing in-house or work with an independent laboratory to complete the testing. 3. Ultrasonic Testing (UT) Utilizes high frequency sound energy to inspect and measure stainless steel bar products. This helps with defect detection/evaluation, dimensional measurement, etc.

304 304L Stainless Steel Rod
304/304L Stainless Steel Rod alloy is an upgrade from regular 304/304L that is treated for better machinability and uniformity. This alloy can be machined faster, with longer tool life, higher part quality, and a lower overall cost to machine the part. 304/304L Stainless Steel Rod is not magnetic after annealing, but may be slightly magnetic after cold working or welding.

316 316L Stainless Steel Rod
Due to the increased chromium
and molybdenum content, 316L Stainless Steel Bar is generally more resistant than 304 in a range of atmospheric environments and many corrosive media. 316L Stainless Steel Bar is susceptible to pitting and crevice corrosion in warm chloride environments and stress corrosion cracking above about 122°F (50°C). It can withstand chloride levels up to about 1000mg/L in drinking water at ambient temperatures, while its chloride content drops to about 500mg/L at 140°F (60°C). 316L Stainless Steel Bar is often considered a "marine grade stainless steel" - but is not resistant to warm seawater.

321 Stainless Steel Rod
Alloy 321 Stainless Steel Bar (UNS S32100) is a titanium stabilized austenitic stainless steel with good overall corrosion resistance. It has high resistance to intergranular corrosion after exposure to chromium carbide precipitation temperature range of 800 - 1500°F (427 - 816°C). The alloy can withstand oxidation up to 1500°F (816°C) and has better creep and stress rupture properties than 304 and 304L Stainless Steel Bar. It also has good low temperature toughness.
321H Stainless Steel Bar (UNS S 32109) is a higher carbon content variation (0.04 - 0.10) of this alloy. It is designed to improve creep resistance and strength at temperatures above 1000oF (537°C). The carbon content of the plate allows dual certification in most cases.
321 Stainless Steel Bar can only be toughened by cold working, not by heat treatment. It can be easily welded and machined using conventional shop fabrication techniques.

310S Stainless Steel Rod
310S Stainless Steel Bar is an austenitic stainless steel bar that has excellent high temperature resistance characteristics while also being ductile and weldable. It is often used in high temperature applications due to its high chromium and nickel content, offering strong corrosion resistance, excellent oxidation resistance, and exceptional strength at temperatures up to 2100°F. Due to its high chromium and nickel content, 310S Stainless Steel Bar outperforms 304 or 309 stainless steel bars in most applications.


2205 Stainless Steel Rod
Duplex 2205 Stainless Steel Bar is a duplex ferritic austenitic stainless steel bar containing 22% chromium, 3% molybdenum and 5-6% nickel. It is the most commonly used duplex stainless steel grade and has a yield strength twice that of regular austenitic grades. The stainless steel bar also has excellent fatigue strength and excellent resistance to stress corrosion cracking, crevice, pitting, erosion and general corrosion in severe conditions.

2507 Stainless Steel Rod
Daxun Alloys Stainless Steels inventory currently includes Duplex 2507 Round Bar, a super duplex stainless steel bar containing 25% chromium, 4% molybdenum and 7% nickel. The alloy is suitable for applications requiring high strength and corrosion resistance, such as chemical processing, petrochemical and seawater equipment. 2507 stainless steel bar has strong resistance to chloride stress corrosion cracking, good thermal conductivity and a low coefficient of thermal expansion. The high chromium, molybdenum and nickel content provides excellent resistance to pitting, crevice corrosion and general corrosion.
