The Canivet RLN Test is a rapid test to detect relaxin in bitches that may be pregnant. The suggested detection period is 22-30 days after mating. Too early detection may lead to a negative result when relaxin in serum is too low. It is suggested to repeat the test after 1 week if a negative result was observed. Specimen: Serum, or plasma.

1. Collect the whole blood for the tested dog, centrifuge it to get the serum, or place the whole blood into a tube which contains anticoagulants to get plasma.
2. Using the disposable dropper, collect and place 3 to 4 drops of the specimen into sample hole "S" of the test card.
3. Get the result during 5-10 mins after add sample.
The kit can be stored at room temperature (2-30°C). The test kit is stable through the expiration date (18 months) marked on the package label. DO NOT FREEZE. Do not store the test kit in direct sunlight.
- Positive (+): The presence of both "C" line and zone "T" line, no matter T line is clear or vague.
- Negative (-): Only clear C line appear. No T line.
- Invalid: No colored line appears in C zone. No matter if T line appears.
