The (H)GWBEB type outdoor high-voltage isolation switch, also known as an isolation disconnect switch, is meticulously engineered for optimal performance on 10(12, 15, 24)kV high voltage power transmission and distribution lines. This exemplary switch efficiently opens and closes single-phase or three-phase circuits without load, even with voltage present, ensuring reliability and safety.
Designed specifically for single-phase use in three-phase line systems, this switch offers a harmonious blend of simplicity, affordability, and user-friendliness. It provides a range of rated currents including 200, 400, 600, 800, 1000, and 1250 amps to meet diverse needs. Constructed with a robust base, durable post insulators, conductive components, and a precision-engineered mechanical section, it employs a gate knife structure to seamlessly open and close the circuit. Each phase's gate knife features dual conductive blades, enhanced by external compression springs on both sides. The spring height adjustment ensures optimal contact pressure, while the insulated hook stick operation and self-locking device enhance usability and safety.
Working Environment:
• Altitude: Must not exceed 1000 meters;
• Ambient Temperature: Maximum at +40°C; Minimum at -30°C;
• Outdoor Wind Speed: Should not surpass 35 meters/second;
• Seismic Intensity: Must not exceed 8 degrees; Installation sites must be free from frequent severe vibrations for optimal operation.
• Environmental Conditions: The installation site should be void of gases, chemical deposits, salt mist, dust, dirt, or any explosive or corrosive substances that could significantly impair the switch's insulation and conductivity.
Note:
WHEN NORMAL OPERATING CONDITIONS ARE EXCEEDED, USERS ARE ENCOURAGED TO DISCUSS WITH THE COMPANY FOR SOLUTIONS.
Installation, Use and Adjustment
Pre-installation Work
- • Ensure all parts are free from dust and dirt; carefully clean the insulating porcelain bottle's surface.
- • Meticulously clean the wiring surface of the ground screw.
- • Apply a generous layer of industrial Vaseline to all rotating parts and contact areas for smooth operation.
- • Examine the contact surface thoroughly and adjust the height of the compression spring to achieve the contact pressure as specified in Table II.
- This switch is exclusively suitable for hoisting purposes and is intended to be used in conjunction with the transformer on the line.
- The rated current of this switch ranges from 200-400 ampere hours; generally, it employs three mounting holes for secure attachment, with three mounting holes also used for 600-1000A.
Annual Maintenance Checklist:
• Clean dirt from all conductive and contact surfaces, including the insulating porcelain bottles, to maintain optimal performance.
• Inspect all components for any damage, focusing particularly on the insulating porcelain bottle for any potential cracks or impairments.
• Ensure that the contact surface of the conductive part remains in excellent condition.
