Application:
1. Calcium lignosulfonate can be used as dispersant, emulsifier, wetting agent, etc. It can be used in industrial detergents, bricks and refractory materials, concrete, cement, coke and charcoal processing, dyes and pigments, casting, gypsum products, granulation processing, petroleum, electroplating bath, tanning leather, wax emulsion and so on.
2. Although calcium lignosulfonate is a waste produced in the papermaking process, it still has the basic structure of lignin-phenylmethylpropane derivatives, and its sulfonic acid group makes it soluble in water. Calcium lignosulfonate contains a variety of chromophore, the solid powder is yellowish brown, easy to be wet caking. Calcium lignosulfonate molecules contain a large number of active groups, such as hydroxyl, carbonyl, sulfuric acid, alcohol hydroxyl, etc., can be self-polycondensation or polycondensation with other substances, the molecular weight and functional groups of calcium lignosulfonate are different, so it has different degrees of dispersion, can be adsorbed on the surface of various solid particles. Industrial lignin itself has the characteristics of polymers and some special properties, mainly used in water treatment agents, concrete admixtures, dye dispersants and various complexing agents, adhesives, but the scope of application is still relatively limited.
3. The products are widely used in cement water reducing agent, pesticide suspension agent, ceramic body strengthening agent, coal water slurry dispersant, leather tanning agent, refractory binder, carbon black granulation agent, etc.


1.Dispersion effect. This product has excellent dispersion and can be quickly adsorbed on the surface of cement particles to form a lubricating film. This lubricating film reduces the friction resistance between the cement particles, making it easier for the cement particles to disperse evenly in the concrete. Dispersion not only reduces the agglomeration of cement particles, but also helps to release the bound cement particles and improve the fluidity and workability of concrete
2.The charge repulsion is dispersed. Negatively charged calcium lignosulfonate neutralizes the positive charge.On the surface of cement particles, the surface charge state of cement particles is changed. This causes electrostatic repulsion between cement particles, which repel each other and disperse. Charge repulsion dispersion further enhances the uniformity and stability of concrete and helps to improve the strength and durability of concrete.
3.Free water. Under the action of calcium lignosulfonate, cement particles dispersed and charged.Repulsive dispersion allows some of the bound water to be released and become free water. These free waters participate in the hydration reaction of concrete and promote the hardening process of cement. At the same time, the release of free water also increases the fluidity of concrete, reduces the water consumption of mixed concrete, and achieves the effect of water reduction.
4.lmprove microstructure. Calcium lignosulfonate improves the microstructure of concrete by dispersion effect and charge repulsion dispersion. The cement particles are more evenly distributed in the concrete, reducing the formation of pores and micro-cracks. This microstructure improvement helps to increase the density and strength of concrete, reduce the permeability and water absorption of concrete, and thus improve the durability and service life of concrete.
5.Improve concrete performance. The water reduction mechanism of calcium lignosulfonate not only improves the fluidity and workability of concrete, but also significantly improves the comprehensive performance of concrete. The addition of water reducing agent reduces the water consumption of concrete, improves the strength and hardness of concrete, while due to the improvement of microstructure, the crack resistance, impermeability and wear resistance of concrete have also been improved, in addition, ionic calcium sulfonate is also environmentally friendly, in line with the requirements of sustainable development.
