Product Description
Phenolic resin worktop is made of multi-layered kraft paper soaked with phenolic resin and decorative paper treated with melamine and special chemical materials. It is pressed under high temperature and high pressure. The surface ( One side) has an special internal chemical coating, that of superior moisture, wear and chemical resistance.

Test Evaluation
The effect on the surface of the specimen is inspected visually and express in accordance with the following rating scale:
| 1 | No effect | : No detectable change in the material surface. |
| 2 | Excellent | : Slight detectable change in colour or gloss, but no change to the function or life of the work surface material. |
| 3 | Good | : Objectionable change in colour or gloss, but no significant impairment of surface life or function. |
| 4 | Fair | : Objectionable change in appearance due to surface discoloration or etch, possible resulting in deterioration of function over an extended period. |
| 5 | Failure | : Pitting, cratering or erosion of work surface material; obvious and significant deterioration. |
Maintenance
1. Phenolic resin worktops should not be exposed to direct or indirect heat exceeding 135ºC
2. Phenolic resin worktops should not be placed in areas of high humidity for long periods of time.
3. Please avoid exposing phenolic resin worktops to flames, molten metal or intense sunlight.
4. Phenolic resin worktops are not to be used for cutting and should not be exposed to any sharp objects.
5. Tripods should always be used when a burner is present.
6. All spills should be promptly removed to ensure a safer working environment and to preserve the integrity of the worktop.
7. Phenolic resin worktops may be cleaned with warm water and gentle cleaning agent (abrasive cleaners may cause damage).
