Rimantadine is an antiviral drug that inhibits influenza viruses and is often used in poultry to fight avian influenza, so it is favored by the majority of farmers. Currently, the United States has determined that its effectiveness as an anti-Parkinson's disease drug is uncertain due to lack of safety. and effectiveness data, rimantadine is no longer recommended for treating influenza in the United States, and has certain toxic side effects on the nervous system and cardiovascular system, and its use as a veterinary drug has been banned in China.
This ELISA kit is designed to detect Rimantadine based on direct-competitive enzyme immunoassay. The microtiter wells are coated with capture BSA-linked antigen. Rimantadine in sample competes with the antigen coated on the microtiter plate for the conjugate. After the addition of enzyme conjugate, chromogenic substrate is used and the signal is measured by spectrophotometer. The absorption is inversely proportional to the Rimantadine concentration in the sample.
2. Applications
This kit can be used for the quantitative and qualitative analysis of Rimantadine in animal tissue(chicken, duck).
3. Detection limit
1ppb
