Tempered laminated glass, also known as tempered laminated safety glass, is created by laminating two or more panes of ordinary float glass that have undergone a tempering process, with PVB interlayers (chemically known as polyvinyl butyral) in between. Through a special process of heating and high-pressure, the glass panes are bonded together to form a type of safety glass.
This type of glass combines the high strength of tempered glass with the excellent safety performance of laminated glass, which prevents shards from falling off, making it suitable for locations with special safety requirements.
