Application:
In online coil tension measurement applications, load cells operate by detecting the tension applied to the coil material in real-time. When the coil moves through the production line, it generates a specific force or tension. The load cell, typically installed on the guiding rollers or supporting structure, senses this force as the coil passes over it. The strain gauges inside the load cell measure the slight deformation caused by this force and convert it into an electrical signal. This signal is then processed and displayed as a precise tension measurement, allowing operators to monitor and adjust the tension to ensure consistent quality, prevent material damage, and maintain optimal production efficiency.
Applications: Tension detection during rewinding, unwinding, and movement; continuous online tension measurement; tension control equipment on production lines. Measures tension on guide rollers for winding plastic film or adhesive tape.
