Extraction of Fine Chemicals and Chemical Raw Materials: Important chemical raw materials such as anthracene, phenanthrene, and carbazole are not easily obtained economically from the petroleum industry and are primarily extracted from anthracene oil. Additionally, anthracene oil contains substances like phenanthrene, and the processing of anthracene oil can yield anthraquinone.
