Product Description
Combined pretreatment plant --Mechanical Cleaning plant
-For Suspended Solids, Oil and Grease Removal and sand removal
Structure:
Combined pre-treatment plant integrates inlet tank , rotary drum screen , aeration horizontal sand trap sedimentation tank , oil floating skimmed system , horizontal spiral conveyor for sand collection , inclined spiral conveyor for lifting sand .
Work principle :
Firstly, the drum screen is composed of a water baffle, a grid mesh cylinder, a grid slag receiving tank, a scraper brush, a flushing pipe, a spiral conveyor, and a transmission reducer. The incoming water is pumped into the front end of the combined pre-treatment plant and when it flows to the drum screen , larger floating objects in the sewage are intercepted on the inner wall of the mesh cylinder. When the mesh cylinder rotates to the upper part, impurities will be cleaned into the slag receiving tank due to gravity, cleaning of the scraping tank, or flushing of the flushing pipe. The slag receiving tank is integrated with the screw conveying system. With the rotation of the screw shaft, debris is transported to the top slag hole, and solid impurities immediately fall into the slag trolley, achieving solid-liquid separation in the sewage. The sewage is filtered by the drum screen and flows to the subsequent treatment unit. According to the logical sequence of sewage treatment, among the following functions.
Secondly ,let's start with the aeration and sand settling function. After larger solid debris is intercepted by the drum screen , the sewage also contains sand and oil impurities. Through aeration system in the equipment, sewage forms an upward and downward circular motion on the cutting surface. Bubbles attach to light weight debris and rise to form scum, while sand particles settle to the bottom with swirling centrifugal action. At the same time, aeration can remove organic pollutants attached to the gravel, reduce the load of subsequent treatment units, and play a good pre-treatment role in sewage. A bucket shaped sand collection tank is set at the bottom of the equipment to facilitate the collection of sand and gravel. The horizontal flow rate of aerated sand settling is approximately 0.1m/s, and the general design residence time is 10-30min. The aeration rate is approximately 0.2 cubic meters of air corresponding to each cubic meter of sewage. The skimming system at the top of the tank is driven by a reducer, and the scraper is set to reciprocating mode. Limit switches and balancers are set at the front and back to provide continuous skimming function. The scum is scraped into the collector and intermittently transported to the sludge concentration tank through a screw pump. An horizontal screw conveyor is installed in the sand collection tank at the bottom of the equipment, which operates through a reducer to drive the screw shaft to rotate and transport the sand and gravel settling at the bottom to the front end of the equipment. A 35 degree axial inclined screw conveyor is installed on the side of the front end, using a two-stage conveying method to transport the sand and gravel piled up at the bottom to the top slag hole, ultimately achieving the effect of sand water separation.
This plant is easy to install, and only needs to connect the water inlet and outlet to complete the installation work. Install several access holes on the top of the equipment to facilitate maintenance during later operation.
Features : All processing treatment are combined in the same tank system intensively, with a compact structure, small footprint, and no odor leakage. It is a complete slurry filtration processing process plant system .
Application : Municipal sewage treatment, industrial sewage treatment

Combined Pretreatment Compact Unit
Combined Pretreatment Compact Unit equipment is fed by a pump or to gravity, through a fixed pipe. The effluent passes through a screw screen that removes the most large solid particles, then goes to a sedimentation tank where the particles sedimented are then removed by a system of screws. As an option you can install the system for removal of fats and suspended oils.
Features Combined Pretreatment Compact Unit:
- Filtration - Screens
- Wash and compaction of solids removed
- Extraction of sand - grit
- Degreasing
Advantages Combined Pretreatment Compact Unit:
- No odor
- Low operating costs and maintenance
- Reduced space requested
- Building work is not necessary
- Ease of installation and management
- Low organic matter in the solid residue extracted
- Reduction up to 40% in volume of solids removed
