Product Description
PTFE is an ideal material for manufacturing ball valve seats due to its low friction coefficient with metals, excellent chemical inertness, and widespread efficiency as a sealing material.
PTFE ball valve seat, also known as PTFE seat, is the most commonly used seat sealing ring in ball valves. According to the molding process, it is mainly divided into two types: molding and lathe processing. The valve seat accuracy processed by lathe can reach 0.1mm. According to the applicable temperature range of the product, it can also be subdivided into carbon fiber valve seat, graphite valve seat, PPL valve seat, polyphenyl ester valve seat, etc. The common characteristics of these valve seats are excellent chemical stability, corrosion resistance, air tightness, high lubrication, non adhesion, electrical insulation and anti-aging capability. Pure PTFE valve seats can work stably for a long time in the temperature range of -180 º C to+250 º C, while PTFE materials modified by filling have more significant improvements in wear resistance, thermal conductivity, creep resistance, and self-lubricating properties compared to pure PTFE products, making them suitable for sealing applications in the temperature range of -180 º C to+300 º C.

Advantages | Excellent high temperature resistance, with a maximum working temperature of 250 º C. |
Excellent low temperature resistance, good mechanical toughness, and can maintain an elongation of 5% even at low temperatures of -196 ºC.
It has strong corrosion resistance to most chemicals and solvents, is chemically inert, and can withstand strong acids, strong bases, water, and various organic solvents.
Among plastic materials, their weather resistance and aging life are the best.
It has extremely high lubricity and is the lowest friction coefficient among solid materials.
Non adhesive, possessing the smallest surface tension among solid materials, and will not adhere to any substance. |
