To improve the stress condition of the main roll ear, the end of the second piece is often bent into a roll ear and wrapped outside the main roll ear.
To make it possible for each piece to slide relatively during elastic deformation, The two ends of the leaf spring in some suspensions are not made into rolling ears, but other support connection methods are adopted, such as a rubber support pad.
